SPUDS come in all shapes, sizes and colours. They have made quite a journey from the ancient cultures in South America to becoming a staple food in Western Europe especially Ireland. Saint Patrick’s day is the traditional day when we think about getting our SPUDS planted outdoors. Check out our friends at SPUDS, a fantastic community research project looking at blight resistant potatoes and issues of sustainability all through the eyes of a potato.

Will you be planting your SPUDS this weekend?

If so what varieties?
